July 24, 2010 - Summer POPS Concert in Broomfield

The Golden Eagle Concert Band presents a Summer POPS concert at the Broomfield Civic Auditorium on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 7:00PM. The concert will feature Sousa marches, Broadway musicals, big band swing and maybe a little Dixieland. Tickets are $5.00 in advance. $7.00 at the Door. To get advance tickets, call 303-695-8800, leave your name and phone number and your call will be returned to take your tickets order. VISA/MC Accepted.

The Golden Eagle Concert Band present a Summer POPS concert as a part of the Littleton Western Welcome Week celebration on Monday, August 16, 2010 at 7:30PM at the South Suburban Christian Church, 7275 S. Broadway, Littelton,CO. This building is air-conditioned, so you can be cool while you listen to some hot concert band music. Tickets are $5.00 in advance. $7.00 at the door. Family Ticket Only $10.00 (Bring your whole family) Children under 12 - FREE. Call 303-695-8800, leave your name and phone number and your call will be returned to take your ticket order. The Golden Eagle Concert Band has OPEN rehearsals, meaning that if you just want to come and listen or want to come and play, you can, even if the section you are looking to join is full.

Rehearsal Location: Edgewater Community Church, 2497 Fenton Street, Edgewater, CO

Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 9:30PM. It would be a good idea especially in the summer to call the music director, John Williams, at 303-695-8800, to make sure that we are having a rehearsal that evening.

Clarinet - 2 chairs open

Bassoon 1 & 2 - 2 chairs open - Needed Immediately

Trombone - Asst Solo - Needed Immediately

Percussion - Mallet Player needed immediately

NOTE: All other sections are full at the present time. However if you would like to be placed on our subsititute/wiating list, please contact us and leave your name and number. Those people on the sub/waiting list will be the first people called, when an opening exists.
