Percussionists Still Needed Immediately! The GECB has an immediate need for percussionists who have high school and/or college wind ensemble experience and are needed for auxiliary percussion such as cymbals, concert toms, bongos, toys, etc.; and mallets. The Golden Eagle Concert Band rehearses on Thursday evenings at 7:30PM at the Edgewater Community Church, 2497 Fenton St, in Edgewater. 2011 rehearsals start on January 6, 2011. All our rehearsals are OPEN, so if you are in the area, come on out. If you just want to sit and listen - great. Or bring your instrument and sit in with us. No audition required. Interested in joining a one of the top adult community concert bands in the Denver area? There is no membership fee. In other words you don't "Pay To Play." If so, the Golden Eagle Concert Band currently has these openings: 2nd Oboe - 1 opening Bassoon 2- one opening Tenor Sax - 1 opening Tenor Trombone - one opening - Assistant Solo Trombone String Bass - one opening General Percussion - two openings We are a year-round concert band and we are looking for some good musicians who are proficient on their instruments and have the time to commit. Have you had high school / college wind ensemble experience and are 18 or older? Do you have the time to commit to approximately 47 rehearsals and 20 performances a year? If your instrument is not listed above, give us a call anyway so that we can put you on our substitute/waiting list.
